I’m excited to share with you the journey of how Filipinay Matchmaker came to be. It all started in 2020 when I launched my social media presence, particularly on TikTok. At first, I wasn’t entirely sure what direction I was going in, but I quickly realized I could use this platform to share insights about my home country, the Philippines, its culture, and its people.
Over time, I began creating content around the topic of dating a Filipina, exploring both the pros and cons. As I shared more, I began attracting attention—some positive, some negative. While I gained a following of foreigners who appreciated my advice on navigating relationships with Filipinas, I also encountered some resistance from those involved in scams. These individuals didn’t appreciate me exposing their tactics, but the support from my followers kept me motivated.
As my audience grew, many foreigners reached out for advice, eager to understand their Filipina partners better. Some even asked for help finding a Filipina to date, offering to pay for my guidance. However, at the time, I wasn’t ready to offer matchmaking services and declined their requests, unsure of how to proceed.
The idea of starting a dating website came up several times, but I wasn’t convinced that was the right approach. Instead, I began to see the value in offering a more personalized service—something where I could be directly involved, ensuring both Filipinas and foreigners found genuine, sincere connections. I wanted to help avoid scammers and ensure a safer, more meaningful matchmaking experience.
In late 2022, I interviewed a foreign client from the USA who was seeking my help to find a Filipina. After explaining how I would assist him, he decided to trust me and move forward with my matchmaking service. This moment was a turning point for me. To have someone believe in my abilities and trust my service gave me the confidence I needed to pursue this path. It was then that I fully embraced the idea of Filipinay Matchmaker.
I started to promote my matchmaking services on TikTok and Instagram, and slowly, foreigners and Filipinas began to sign up. Despite the challenges I faced, I remained committed to helping those who trusted me to find the right partner.
Today, with the support of many who believe in what I do, I’m proud to have created this website and offer my matchmaking services. My long-term goal is to continue helping both foreigners and Filipinas, guiding them toward meaningful and lasting relationships.
